I have been involved with this program for the last 6 years at Jp.Elder with my own daughter as COC before Gunny came to Elder. I stayed on at Elder because of Gunny and the program and what he is teaching the kids. It has become a part of my life and I will stand at Gunny's side for as long as he needs me I believe in this program the confidence these kids leave with is amazing because of programs like this our kids will have the foundation they need to enter high school and succeed and achieve higher goals....Thank God for Gunny......

Growing up in my times, well it was just finish high school if you can. Now a mother myself I was terrified to let happen to my children what happened to me and thank God there was JCC! The structure and disipline has not only encouraged my child to strive but to be an example to others. Thank you for opening doors.

I must echo what Bob Edwards said. The kids of today have the deck stacked against them, and without programs such as yours there would be more problems in the schools than there is now. Hopefully those not in the program will see the benefit and join. God Bless! Yes, I used the GOD word!

Good job with the kids, in this day and age without structure like you provide their chance of success are slim.

I really liked you sight!! I am the Junior Vice Commandant for the Sacramento 23 Chapter of the California Marine Corps League. I applaud your Cadets, especially your COC. I believe that we need units like yours to give our children a way to build confidence in themselves and the respect of others by leading the example!! If you need any assistance, I am sure there are Marine Corps League Detachments in your area that can help. Also, I would like to ask if you could educate your cadets about the Marine Corps League and its purpose, Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Semper Fi
